APEs: Found in detergents, disinfectants, all-purpose cleaners and laundry cleansers and are endocrine disruptors.

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs): Emitted as gases, present in perfumes, air fresheners, disinfectants and deodorizers. Commonly include propane, butane, ethanol, phthalates and/or formaldehyde. Poses a variety of human health hazards and thought to be reproductive toxins and carcinogens.
Formaldehyde: Commonly known as a preservative, it is also a germicide, bactericide, fungicide and carcinogen. Found in household cleaners and disinfectants and also present in nail polish.
